Alumni Services Coordinator
College Relations

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Alumni Services Coordinator r eceives requests for and provides services to alumni, parents, students, and other constituents needing assistance from the Alumni Relations Office or the College. Manages electronic communications for the Alumni Relations Office and other faculty, staff, departments having need to reach constituents. Assists with relationship management and serves as the initial point of contact for constituents by managing the office email account, incoming phone traffic, and front desk of the office through which the majority of requests for services are received. Coordinates logistical details for events sponsored by the Alumni Relations Office such as Homecoming, regional alumni events and special alumni meetings by working and communicating with departmental and campus staff, caterers, florists, printing and mailing sources, rental companies, and alumni volunteers. Keeps records of registrations for these events. Requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and ability to relate with a wide range of people in both internal and external communities. Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Ability to utilize exceptional judgment, apply analytical skills, make decisions and represent the office and institution in a professional manner is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required; familiarity with Banner database is preferred. Experience or training in Web applications is preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE : Full-time
