Prof. Charles McKinney Featured on Dutch TV About Removal of Nathan Bedford Forrest Statue

Dr. Charles McKinney, the Neville Frierson Bryan Chair of Africana Studies and associate professor of history, recently was featured on a television station in the Netherlands commenting on the removal of the Nathan Bedford Forrest statue in Memphis. 

McKinney’s areas of expertise include African American history, civil rights studies, oral history, and 20th Century U.S. social history.
