Lauren Falco, 2001, Currently Lauren is a lecturer at the Penn State Campus in Erie, PA where she teaches physics classes including an upcoming class entitled "The Science of Music."
Julia Javarone, 2001, Julie is an endodontist in Houston, TX where she lives with her husband, daughter, and newborn son.
David Merriman, 2001, David is employed as an orthopaedic trauma surgeon in Springfield, MO. He and his wife are the proud parents of a 2 year old boy named Jack.
Erin Henderlight, 2001, After several years working in the Space Science Division for the Naval Research Lab, Erin went back to school and received a Masters of Public Policy from Duke University. Erin currently works as a Senior Consultant with Public Consulting Group, located in Boston, MA.

Elizabeth Evans, 2002, Beth received her Ph.D. in Human Movement Science (Exercise Physiology specialization) in December, 2012, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Exercise Science at Elon University (Elon, NC).
Mark Loeffler, 2002, Currently Mark is working in the Astrochemistry branch at NASA Goddard in Greenbelt, MD.  The majority of his time is spent in the laboratory, where he is mainly focused on understanding how radiation affects icy surfaces in outer space.  The results taken from his experiments can be used to interpret data retrieved from missions and can also be used to understand how icy surfaces in space may be evolving over time.

Karyn Bondi, 2003, Karyn currently lives in East Memphis with her husband Paul and their two small children.  She splits her time between playdates and adjunct teaching at Rhodes and the University of Memphis.
Ben Evans, 2003, Ben received his Ph.D. in Physics in 2008 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Physics at Elon University. Ben and his wife Elizabeth ′02 live in Chapel Hill with their two daughters.
Neil Fore, 2003, Neil received his Master′s Degree in Computer Science and is employed as a Software Engineer at BAE Systems.
Stuart Johnston, 2003, In spring 2013 Stuart applied for and was selected as a North Carolina Principal Fellow ( He will spend the next two academic years working full time toward a masters degree in school administration at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Tom O′Hara, 2003, Tom earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering in 2011 from Washington University in St. Louis under the supervision of Professor Yoram Rudy. Currently a postdoctoral fellow working with Professor Natalia Trayanova at the Johns Hopkins Institute for Computational  Medicine in Baltimore, MD. His research investigates basic mechanisms linking heart failure to arrhythmia using computer models (    
Jonathan Rogers, 2003, Jonathan works for Midsouth Radiation Physics as a medical physicist. He is board certified from the American Board of Radiology in radiation therapy physics which he has been practicing since 2007 after he graduated from Vanderbilt University with his Masters in Medical Physics.

Stacy Sidle, 2004, Stacy just finished her 6th year of teaching high school math in Austin, TX. In August 2013, she will be starting a masters program in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Maryland.

Hamilton Hutchinson, 2005, Hamilton completed his BS/MS degree from Washington University, St. Louis in Civil Engineering. He is part owner of a solar installation company that was started by Julian Thomas ′05 where he  is still an owner of that company.
Sean McKenna, 2005, Sean has a MS in Computer Science. He is currently a software developer at Mosaik Solutions, working mostly on their CellMaps product as the lead developer for Time Warner Cable, Alltel, Tracfone, Bell Canada, Cellcom, and many others. Sean is also working on iOS applications and is a social media aggregator. He is the single father of two young girls.
Matthew Shanks, 2005, Matt is currently working for a software company doing custom software implementations and support. Matt and his wife are expecting their first child in October.
Drew Shores, 2005, Drew has his Master′s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Duke University. He spent three and a half years developing avionics systems for commercial aircraft with Rockwell Collins, Inc. Loving his job but wanting more, he quit Rockwell and went back to school to pursue a career in Intellectual Property law where he graduated first in his class from Campbell Law School in Raleigh, NC where he will be practicing with the Intellectual Property group at Ward & Smith, P.A.  
Desmond Campbell, 2006, Desi is currently in his final year as a Ph.D. candidate in the Physics and Astronomy Department and the Institute of Imaging Science (VUIIS) at Vanderbilt.
Adam Keckler, 2006, Adam has been in New Orleans for the past 4 years working with a general contractor on the USACE Levees and the downtown streetcar.  In the fall he will be pursuing his MBA.
Jeff France, 2006, Jeff received his Ph.D. in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences in December 2012 from the University of Colorado, Boulder.  The title of his thesis is "A Climatology of the Stratopause in the Polar Winter Vortices and Anticyclones: Observations and Global Modeling."  Jeff is currently working as a Research Scientist at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics in Boulder, CO.
Sean Quinn, 2006, Employed as a composite materials development engineer for Boeing Rotocraft in Philadelphia on development projects such as the Boeing/Sikorsky joint-multi-role helicopter proposal for the U.S. Army.
Kevin Andring, 2007, Kevin is working as a Desktop Engineer for the City of Memphis, Division of Information Services.  He designs and tests computer systems for compatibility issues and maintains the servers associated with connecting the City′s computers on a large scale network.
Scott Barrows, 2007, In April 2013 Scott successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in Space and Planetary Sciences at the University of Arkansas. He has recently relocated to Boulder, CO.
Hallie Graves, 2007, Hallie is employed as a trial lawyer at Baker Botts LLP in Dallas, TX. She finished law school in May 2010 and worked for Chief Judge Fitzwater for a year, and then started private practice. Hallie′s first big trial was intellectual property, so she was able to use her science background!
John Janeski, 2007, Ph.D. candidate and Dean′s Teaching Fellow in the Aerospace and Ocean Engineering Department at Virginia Tech studying the effects of the local plasma environment on the dynamics of electrodynamic tether systems.
Drew Scott, 2007, Drew is a Resident at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Paul Sinclair, 2007, After earning his Masters′ degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt in 2009, Paul has kept busy running his own Radio Controlled race car company, X Factory RC. Using principles of physics to evaluate and improve on the chassis design and handling characteristics, Paul′s cars have won a number of national championships around the world.
Whitney Tidwell, 2007, Whitney is a science educator and tinkering facilitator at the Museum of Discovery in Little Rock.  Along with that she is working on her Masters in Microelectronics and Photonics at the University of Arkansas at Fayettevile. Her research focus is in the tribological properties and nanoscale materials and nanostructures.  Whitney has recently become a new Mom.

Michael Towle, 2008, Michael is currently living in rural New Hampshire functioning as Office Manager for the Hampstead Stage Company, a nationally-touring, non-profit, literature-based theater for young audiences.  He wears many hats for them: everything from running an office that has to methodically reach out nationally to schools, libraries, and communities; set and prop construction; data base creation and management; and IT systems management for the office. He most recently played Thomas Jefferson in the musical 1776. As Michael noted "life is grand!"
Jennifer Crowl (Thompson), 2008, Jenifer is currently working for McGraw-Hill Education in their High School Mathematics Department.  Jennifer developes teaching materials and games for online curriculums. Jennifer says this is her dream job; she gets to spend all day thinking of cool math and physics problems.
