Brent Hoffmeister joined Rhodes in 1996 and served as Physics Department Chair from 2006-2016. He is the faculty advisor of Rhodes’ award-winning chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS). In 2011, he received national recognition as an Outstanding SPS Chapter Advisor.
