Barret Library Breezeway
GlobeMed at Rhodes, a student-led group striving to address health inequity in Nicaragua, is holding a Silent Art Auction to support its partner organization, AMOS. All proceeds from the auction will support community-identified primary healthcare initiatives in Nicaragua. Bidding will occur Friday and Saturday. Winners may pick up their pieces on Sunday morning.

Clough-Hanson Gallery, Clough Hall
Inspired by the 1970’s speculative documentary TV series, the artists in this exhibition create images and abstract scenarios that engage transformative moments, look into alternate histories or imagine other realities, creatures and lands.

All parents who are attorneys are invited to attend and learn guidelines on how to manage the ethical perils of lawyer social networking as well as the implications of social media for employment and labor law practitioners and family law practitioners. This session has been approved for 2.0 hours of dual credit. A cocktail reception will follow. Register at the Rhodes alumni discount rate by visiting the alumni website.

Six International Studies majors were selected last spring as Mertie Buckman International Interns and each spent nine weeks over the summer working as an intern in a foreign setting. The Buckman Interns will share reflections and lessons from their various summer internship experiences from Costa Rica, Croatia, Jordan, Poland, and Tanzania. An informal reception with light refreshments will take place from 3:00-4:00 pm in the first floor lobby of Buckman Hall in advance of the presentations.

4:30 pm to 7:30 pm Refectory Showcase: International Feast

Join us for family dinner at the newly renovated Catherine Burrow Refectory. Enjoy dishes prepared in our exhibition-style kitchen from various international countries. The Rhodes Jazz Combo will perform live while you dine. Vegan and vegetarian options will be available. There is no cost for families, students will swipe cards.

7:00 pm Kappa Delta All-Sing
Mallory Gymnasium, Bryan Campus Life Center - Doors open at 6:30 pm) Tickets for this high energy musical competition will be available for purchase at the door. All proceeds will go to Kappa Delta charities, Prevent Child Abuse America and Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee.

Our Green Rhodes student members will lead walking-tours of over 50 varieties of trees around campus. Tours will depart from Middle Ground.
