The May 10 ceremony will be held in Fisher Garden if at all possible. Candidates for graduation, their parents, family and friends should take precautions if the campus has experienced recent rain conditions by wearing appropriate footwear and having umbrellas handy.
If inclement weather conditions absolutely prevent an outdoor ceremony, a decision to hold the event in the Bryan Campus Life Center will be made by 7:30 am on May 10. If you have questions about the location, check the Rhodes home page or call one of the numbers below. In case of rain, members of the Class of 2014 should line up on the first floor of the Bryan Campus Life Center.
Only those with seating tickets will be admitted to the rain site in the Bryan Campus Life Center.
Those without tickets may view the ceremony in the Lynx Lair, The McCallum Ballroom, Burrow Hall and the Blount Auditorium of Buckman Hall. The ceremony will also be streamed from the Rhodes home page.
If the weather permits, the reception for graduates and their guests will take place in the Rollow Avenue of Oaks immediately following the commencement ceremony. Otherwise, refer to the locations listed in the commencement program for the sites of the indoor receptions.
Caps, gowns and hoods should be returned to Hardie Auditorium in Palmer Hall on Saturday until 2 pm or after that to the Campus Safety Office.
