Rain Plan
The May 10 ceremony will be held in Fisher Garden if at all possible. Candidates for graduation, their parents, family and friends should take precautions if the campus has experienced recent rain conditions by wearing appropriate footwear.
If inclement weather conditions absolutely prevent an outdoor ceremony, Commencement will be moved to Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church, 70 North Bellevue. A decision regarding location will be made by 7:30 a.m. on May 10. If you have questions about the location, check the Rhodes home page or call one of the numbers below.
To ensure fairness for everyone, each senior will receive six (6) tickets for "rain plan" seating in the sanctuary. Other guests will be invited to sit in the Fellowship Hall, where the ceremony will be broadcast. These tickets will be given to seniors on Wednesday, May 7, and Thursday, May 8, in Hardie Auditorium, during the cap and gown distribution.
