Rhodes MasterSingers Chorale to Hold Auditions Aug. 26

Dr. William Skoog, conductor of the Rhodes MasterSingers Chorale, announces auditions for all voice parts for Fall 2014. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 5-7:30 p.m. in Tuthill Performance Hall of Hassell Hall on campus.

Contact Katie Clark, mastersingerschorale@gmail.com, to schedule an audition time. Individuals should bring a prepared song in any language, memorization optional. An accompanist will be provided.

Rehearsals are on Tuesdays, 7 p.m.-9:15 p.m., at Evergreen Presbyterian Church (across from the Rhodes campus), and will begin on Sept. 2. The fall performance will be on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m. and will feature “An American Requiem” by James DeMars and the world premiere of “Sonnets” by Burton Beerman.

The Rhodes MasterSingers Chorale is made up of faculty, staff, students and choral alumni as well as various music professionals.
