Rhodes Field Hockey Wins Conference Title and Football Prepares for Big Game Against Millsaps

Rhodes field hockey¬†defeated Centre College this past weekend to win the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) championship title. This is the program’s fifth consecutive conference title. Jane Wells ’03 serves as head coach.

In other sports news, the Rhodes football team will host Millsaps College on Nov. 16 for the Southern Athletic Association title and a possible NCAA post-season playoff berth. Rhodes will come to the Crain Field with a 7-2 record and Millsaps a 9-0 record. According to athletics director Mike Clary, this game “is without question the biggest season-ending football game to take place at Rhodes in 25 years.”
