Lily Kate Anthony ’17 Featured in WREG-TV Story About Living a Successful Life Despite Illness

Publication Date: 10/3/2013

In a WREG/CBS-TV interview, Rhodes student Lily Kate Anthony ’17 shares her story of receiving treatment at Memphis’ Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and living life to the fullest despite being diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis.

Anthony also doesn’t plan to let the illness stop her from one day becoming an actor, writer, psychologist and possibly a mom. At Rhodes, she is considering a double major in psychology and English.

“I think my illness is a part of me, but it’s not the dominant part of who I am,’ Kate says in the interview.
