Rhodes Prof. Michael Nelson Among Constitution Day Lecturers

Prof. Michael Nelson of Rhodes Department of Political Science is presenting University of Virginia’s Constitution Day lecture today.

Sept. 17 is the day the remaining delegates to the Philadelphia Convention signed the Constitution in 1787.

At Rhodes at 7 p.m. in the McCallum Ballroom, historian Gordon Wood will present "The Making of The Constitution."

In addition, Prof. Dan Cullen of Rhodes Department of Political Science has published a commentary about Constitution Day in The Commercial Appeal.
