Publication Date: 7/18/2013

The Rhodes Men’s & Women’s Swimming & Diving teams have earned spots on the College Swimming Coaches Association of America’s (CSCAA) Scholar All-America teams, for each maintaining a team GPA of over 3.0. The Lynx finished in the top five of all NCAA Division III teams.

The Women’s team GPA of 3.6 ranked them fourth in all of Division III, and earned them the highest ranking of any Southern Athletic Association squad.

The Men were able to earn the second highest team GPA in NCAA Division III with their mark of 3.57 trailing only Principia College, and also earning the highest ranking in the Southern Athletic Association.

“We take academics very seriously at Rhodes,” says Coach Charlie Boehme, “I’m proud of the results our student-athletes were able to produce in the classroom this year. We have created an environment that demands success in the classroom, as well as the pool, and I cannot wait for us to continue raising the bar.”
