Indie Memphis′ Schedule This Weekend Includes Films Made by Rhodes Students and Faculty

“Far Away Next Door”
Films made by Rhodes students and faculty will be screened at the Indie Memphis Film Festival this weekend.
“Far Away Next Door,” a film produced by Liz Daggett with student co-directors Shyretha Johnson, Isaiah Swanson, and David Becker, will be shown on Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. at Playhouse on the Square.
It will be shown with a documentary about Collage Dance Collective and a 2011 Rhodes Institute project involving members from the Rhodes community leading a six-week theatre camp. These screenings are free and open to the public.
On Nov. 4 at 12:20 p.m. at Circuit Playhouse,“Decair,” a short film made by David Bergen and Samuel Bridger in ART 166 last spring, will be shown as part of Short Films #6: Views of Memphis. For ticket information, visit: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/4658979132#
