Rhodes’ Participation in the Zion Cemetery Project Gets Magazine Mention

For many years, Professor Milton Moreland and other Rhodes volunteers have been actively involved in the restoration of Zion Cemetery, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990 and is considered the the oldest African American cemetery in Shelby County.

The October issue of Memphis Downtowner magazine features an article about the cemetery and mentions Rhodes’ involvement.
