Lynx Football Staff To Participate in Coach To Cure MD
Publication Date: 9/28/2012
On Sept. 29, the Rhodes football staff will participate in the nationwide Coach To Cure Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. Rhodes is one of more than 550 colleges, universities, and high schools whose coaches will wear Coach To Cure MD patches on the left arm during all games scheduled this coming weekend.
According to Rhodes Head Football Coach Dan Gritti, “It is a great opportunity to use the high profile that football provides to assist in the fight against Muscular Dystrophy. I want our program to be at the forefront of this battle.”
The goals of Coach To Cure MD are to raise national awareness of the disorder and to raise money to fund research for a cure.
