Publication Date: 9/25/2012

The Colleges of Memphis and the City of Memphis are hosting the Annual “Colleges of Memphis Night” on Thursday, Sept. 27. The purpose of the event is to unite all 14 Memphis colleges and universities’ students, faculties, and staffs to inspire meaningful relationships that build upon current and developing educational and social ideals.

The night consists of a reception starting at 5:30 p.m. in Rust Hall at the Memphis College of Art, a crash course in Memphis history via Memphis 101 conducted by the Leadership Academy at 6:15 p.m. followed by a concert at the Levitt Shell at 7:15 p.m. Students, faculty and staff will be joined by Mayor A C Wharton, who will welcome all to Memphis.

All festivities will take place at the Memphis College of Art. Since each college/university has a limited number of seats for the Memphis 101 class, it is vital that you reply to this email promptly for a reserved seat. All events are free.
