Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum To Honor Rhodes Alumnus and Songwriter Allen Reynolds

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will honor songwriter and Rhodes alumnus Allen Reynolds ’60 in Nashville on Oct. 6. He will be the subject of the museum’s Poets and Prophets: Legendary Songwriters salute, and the presentation is scheduled to be streamed live at countrymusichalloffame.org.

As a songwriter and producer, Reynolds has helped shape country music and produced hits for Dickey Lee, Crystal Gale, Garth Brooks, Emmylou Harris, Kathy Mattea and Don Williams, just to name a few. He is the recipient of numerous awards and was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2000.

Reynolds began writing songs while studying for his degree in English at Rhodes.
