Corbin Williams ’14 Stars in Playhouse on the Square’s “Xanadu”

Corbin Williams ’14, who is pursuing an interdisciplinary major in music and theatre at Rhodes, plays the starring role of “Sonny” In Playhouse on the Square’s production of “Xanadu.”

“Xanadu” is described as “an electrifying musical tale about following your dreams with chart-topping tunes.” Based on the cult film, the show follows the story of a Greek muse who descends from the heavens to 1980s Venice Beach, California to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, to create a roller disco. The muse falls in love with the mortal, and her jealous sisters plot to separate them.
