Rhodes MasterSingers To Hold Spring Auditions

Rhodes MasterSingers, a semi-professional choral ensemble at Rhodes College, will hold auditions for all voice parts for spring 2012. Open to the public, auditions will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Evergreen Presbyterian Church, 613 University Street (across from the Rhodes campus).
Contact Debbie Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an audition time. Individuals should bring a prepared song in any language (memorization optional). An accompanist will be provided.
The Rhodes MasterSingers is made up of faculty, staff, students and alumni of Rhodes College and various music professionals. Dr. William Skoog is the conductor.
Rehearsals begin Feb. 28, and the performance is April 28. Works to be performed this spring are W. A. Mozart’s “Missa Solemnis” and Morten Lauridsen’s “Lux Aeterna.”
