Jason and Jodi Womack at Rhodes College

Rhodes is hosting several events this week (Feb. 9-11) by Jason and Jodi Womack of the Womack Company. Jason is author of Your Best Just Got Better: Working Smarter, Thinking Bigger, Making More, and his articles on management and productivity tips have been published in trade journals and regional magazines as well as the Los Angeles Times.

All of the following events are free and open to the public.

Book Signings and Coffee Chats
Feb. 9, 7-8 a.m. at Brother Juniper′s
Feb.10, 7-8 a.m. at Cafe Eclectic
Feb. 10, 10:30 a.m.-noon at the Rhodes Bookstore. Coffee and light refreshments will be available.
Feb. 11, 10 a.m.-noon at the Starbucks located at Poplar and Prescott

Jason Womack Presents “Ayn Rand and Atlas Shrugged in the Business World”
Feb. 9, 3:30 p.m. in Buckman Hall 309 at Rhodes
In the movie “Wall Street,” Gordon Gekko says “greed is good.” Well, is it? More than 55 years ago, Ayn Rand took a philosophical approach to innovation, creativity, and a willingness to do the best we can and to be rewarded for it. Join in the discussion about how ideas Rand wrote might apply to the business world of today. The Anthem Foundation will provide copies of Atlas Shrugged for students in attendance.

Jason Womack Presents “Your Best Just Got Better”
Feb. 9, 5:30 p.m. in Blount Auditorium of Buckman Hall at Rhodes
Jason Womack will discuss his recently-published book Your Best Just Got Better. Copies will be available for purchase, and Jason will be on hand to sign them after the talk.

Jodi Womack Presents the Women′s Business Social
Feb. 9, 7:30 p.m. in the Crain Reception Hall of the Bryan Campus Life Center at Rhodes
Jodi Womack (www.nomorenylons.com) created the Women’s Business Socials to help women talk, connect and promote the work they love doing. Registration isn’t required but encouraged at here. Light snacks will be provided.

Jodi Womack Presents “How I Pulled off TEDxOjaiWomen”
Feb. 10, 9 a.m. in Buckman Hall 212 at Rhodes
What is it like to plan a really big event? Join Jodi Womack as she explains how she helped organize TEDxOjaiWomen, a one-day event that was broadcast live around the world and focused on the future of women and girls. Womack’s presentation will be especially interesting for students and others who are in charge of event planning.
