Seven alumni and One Team Announced for Athletic Hall of Fame Induction

The 1985 Women′s Tennis Team and seven alumni will be inducted into the Rhodes Athletic Hall of Fame during Homecoming Weekend, October 21-22, 2011. They are:
Tommy Clinton ′61 – Four year starter in football on offense and defense
Arnie Pittman ′67 – Outstanding golfer for the Lynx who served as team captain his junior and senior years
David Maddux ′87 – Selected All College Athletic Conference (All CAC) in 1984, 1985 and 1986 at defensive tackle
Thomas Johnson ′94 – Outstanding scorer who led the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) in scoring (486 points) and scoring average (19.4/game) his senior year
Albert Johnson ′96 – Ranks as one of the best point guards in Rhodes basketball history
Emily Burch (Crocker) ′01 – Put the Rhodes Women′s Golf program on the map when she finished as the national runnerup in the 2001 NCAA Division III National Championship
Becky Harper (Dickey) ′01 – Becomes the first Rhodes softball player to be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame
