Bell Named Capital One Academic All-American

Rhodes basketball player Sharwil Bell has been named to the Capital One Academic All-American Team. Bell, who is from Memphis, is a biology major with a 3.97 GPA. She is the only player in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) to earn Academic All-American status this season.

Scholar-athletes are nominated by current members of the College Sports Information Directors of America.
