Rhodes Makes Best Values in Liberal Arts Colleges List

Publication Date: 10/28/2010

Kiplinger’s Personal Finance has announced its annual rankings of the best values in private institutions that deliver a high-quality education at an affordable price. Rhodes College ranks 34 on the list of 100 liberal arts colleges.

Students at Rhodes enjoy a challenging educational environment both inside and outside the classroom with access to varied internships and meaningful engagement in the community. Community Service Work Study and the Rhodes Student Associate Program are just two examples.

In addition, nearly half of the Rhodes entering students receive four-year competitive fellowships, scholarships and awards. The entering Class of 2014 was awarded 228 competitive scholarships valued at $3.3 million.

Fellowships take scholarships a step further by providing students with not only financial support, but also the chance to participate in important study, research, creative work and service with faculty and like-minded peers.
