J. Allen Boone is CFO of the Year Awards Finalist

J. Allen Boone, Jr., vice president for finance and business affairs at Rhodes, is a finalist for the first annual CFO of the Year Awards presented by the Memphis Business Journal.

The 14 finalists represent some of Memphis’ largest public and private companies and nonprofits in an array of industries and sectors. The awards are designed to recognize outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards.

The honorees are featured in a special publication of this week’s Memphis Business Journal and will be recognized at an awards breakfast Friday, Oct. 22, at the Holiday Inn University of Memphis.

A 1971 graduate of Rhodes, Boone also holds an M.P.A. from The University of Memphis. He has served as the college’s chief financial officer since 1986.
