Seven Inductees Selected for Rhodes Athletic Hall of Fame

Seven outstanding alumni will be inducted into the Rhodes Athletic Hall of Fame during Homecoming Weekend, October 29-30, 2010. They are:
Bob Welsh ’59 - Outstanding Cross-Country and Track athlete for the Lynx, who held the school record in the 2-mile run for several years
Paul Cox ’65 (posthumous) - Standout football and baseball player
Mike Hettinger ’68 - Outstanding player for the Lynx in basketball
John Loebel ’79 - Won the Southern College Athletic Conference golf tournament his freshman year by six strokes
Donald Duggan ’86 – Four year starter in football and school record holder in track and field
Hallie McNeill Ward ’96 - First women′s soccer player to be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame
Neil Brunetz ’97 - Named to the All Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference team each of his four years at Rhodes
