Natalie Person is an Associate Professor of Psychology, serves as the Coordinator of the Education Program at Rhodes College. She is also the Director of the Language and Learning Technologies Lab. Professor Person joined Rhodes College in 1994 as an Assistant Profesor of Psychology after earning her doctorate at the Univserity of Memphis. Professor Person's primary research concerns the general areas of cognitive psychology, education, cognitive science, artificial intelligence, and psycholinguistics. More specific interests include tutoring, instructional technology, intelligent tutoring systems, conversational discourse, complex learning, question asking and answering, models of effective teaching, and affecting computing. Professor Person's teaching interests include the general areas of cognitive psychology, education, cognitive science, artificial intelligence, and psycholinguistics.
