Jim Mueller came
to Rhodes College from St. Louis, Missouri, and began his work with Dr. Natalie
Person in the Fall of 2000 when Dr. Person invited a few select students to
participate in a Research Course that focused on the HURAA Project held by the
Tutoring Research Group (TRG) at the University of Memphis. Jim then continued
to work with the TRG the following semester into the present. While working
on the grants held by the TRG, Jim has contributed to many projects including
AutoTutor 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0, HURAA, and most recently Why/AutoTutor. In addition
to pursuing a degree at Rhodes, Jim has served the college community on the
College's Social Regulations Council, as well as holding offices within his
fraternity, Alpha Tau Omega, including most recently serving as President. Jim
graduates in December 2002 with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Psychology.
