Dr. Laura Loth, assistant professor of modern languages and literatures, has received a grant for Rhodes to host the third annual Tournées French Film Festival. This selective, competitive grant comes from the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the French-American Cultural Exchange Foundation.
The festival will run Jan. 27-Feb. 11, 2015 and will be sponsored by Communities in Conversation, Modern Languages and Literatures, the Film Studies program, and the Alliance Française of Memphis.
The schedule includes five contemporary films and one classic film.
