Prof. Michael Nelson of the Department of Political Science has reviewed two new books about baseball for The Weekly Standard. Also, the American Political Science Association recently presented him the Richard E. Neustadt Award for his book Resilient America: Electing Nixon in 1968, Channeling Dissent, and Dividing Government.

Prof. Caki Wilkinson of the Department of English has published The Wynona Stone Poems. It has been described as a comic novel in verse about a modern Midwestern woman who can’t quite make her life happen.

Profs. Jeffrey Jackson and Robert Francis Saxe of the Department of History have co-edited The Underground Reader: Sources in the Transatlantic Counterculture, a collection of primary sources that demonstrates how thinkers in the U.S. and Europe have engaged in an ongoing trans-Atlantic dialogue, inspiring one another to challenge the norms of Western society.
