Professor Brandy Brown is an Assistant Professor of French. She specializes in medieval French literature and culture. Her research interests include Arthurian literature, the marvelous, genre studies, and print culture studies. Her dissertation, “The King’s Other Court: Epic Transformations of Arthurian Space in Old French Chansons de Geste,” analyzes the intersection of the romance and epic genres through Arthurian interludes in Old French epic poetry.
