Jackson Co-Edits Special Issue of French Historical Studies

Associate Professor of History Jeff Jackson has co-edited, with Elinor Accampo of USC, the most recent issue of French Historical Studies on the theme disaster in French history. This special issue brings theoretical and methodological issues from the fields of disaster studies into dialogue with French history. In doing so, it aims to introduce "disaster" and "risk" as important categories of analysis to the study of France and to history more generally. French Historical Studies is the most prestigious journal for the study of French history and culture in North America.
