Rhodes Student Associate Program (RSAP)

Not your average work study job.
Launched in 2004 with 20 students working in 18 departments, the Rhodes Student Associate (RSA) Program began as an experiment aimed at reforming student employment on-campus. The program has become a source for sought-after student jobs because it offers meaningful employment that require advanced skills and dedication. Currently, over 90 positions are available in more than 40 academic and administrative departments.
The RSA Program is open only to current students who may apply for a position during the spring semester of their freshman, sophomore or junior year.

As junior staff in their departments, Student Associates will:

Qualifications
Student Associates are required to:
- Work 10-15 hours per week
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75
- Complete assignments both independently and in teams
- Balance the associate position with academics and other commitments
- Take on challenging assignments
- Attend scheduled Student Associate seminars
- Complete monthly feedback journals

- Read the descriptions of open positions to see if any fit your interests and abilities. If you see none you are interested in or there are currently none available, feel free to check back often as open positions are always changing and evolving.
- Complete the application (available in hard copy in the Financial Aid Office and in the Forms section).
- Return the application to the Financial Aid Office with a copy of your resume and a brief essay of interest by the appointed date.
- Each supervisor will view the applications and contact qualified candidates for an interview.
- Interviews will be conducted individually in each department and applicants will be hired by the choice of each supervisor.
- If hired, students will be notified by their new supervisor or the Financial Aid Office.
