Community Service Work Study
Work Study is a great way to help defray college expenses.
Rhodes has expanded its current work study opportunities to include a variety of off-campus options with non-profit agencies. These opportunities are limited to those students who have applied for financial assistance and been awarded a Federal Work Study Award (FWS). These jobs will be at off-campus sites and will require that the students have adequate transportation to and from their assigned job. Because students will be required to provide transportation, the pay rate will be $7.30/ hr.
All students need to apply for financial assistance in order to seek qualification for the Federal Work Study Program. When we offer you Federal Work Study as part of your financial assistance you will then want to choose a few options from the jobs listed below, contact the person listed at the agency directly to request an interview. If you are selected for a position, you will need to immediately notify the Financial Aid Office so that we can get your paperwork started and remove the job from our list of opportunities.
