Bellingrath Fellowship

As a Bellingrath Fellow, you represent the very best at Rhodes.

Each year, up to three high school seniors with exceptional academic achievements and distinctive personal accomplishments are awarded a Bellingrath Fellowship. This most prestigious of our awards covers the full cost of tuition, fees, room and board for four years at Rhodes.

What are my responsibilities as a Bellingrath Fellow?

Your distinction earns you the right and responsibility of representing Rhodes to outside guests. Bellingrath Fellows assist the Admissions Office by participating in on-campus programs, conducting campus tours for prospective students and their families, hosting prospective students during overnight visits, and helping select future Bellingrath Fellows.

How do I qualify for this award?

Complete and submit an application for admission to Rhodes by January 15.

  • Finalists will be notified by March 1. All other applicants will be notified of their admission status and financial aid awards by April 1.
  • If you are awarded the Bellingrath Fellowship, you must submit your enrollment deposit to Rhodes no later than May 1.

All applicants who apply on time but are not selected to interview for a Bellingrath Fellowship will automatically be considered for our other competitive scholarships and fellowships.
