Pay attention to deadlines when you apply for financial aid.

Your FAFSA and CSS PROFILE should be electronically submitted by the date indicated below.  The Tennessee Student Assistance Award (for TN residents) has a FAFSA deadline of February 1 but may run out of funds before this date. All TN residents (both prospective and continuing students) should file the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1 to qualify for maximum funding opportunities.

  • CSS PROFILE (Early Decision) - November 1
  • CSS PROFILE (Early Action) - January 1
  • CSS PROFILE (Bonner) - January 15
  • CSS PROFILE (Regular Decision) - March 1
  • FAFSA (All) - March 1 (Not available for the new year until January 1, 2012)

Notification from Rhodes Mailed

  • CSS PROFILE (Early Decision) - December 10
  • CSS PROFILE (Early Action) - February 10
  • CSS PROFILE (Bonner) - April 10
  • CSS PROFILE (Regular Decision) - April 10
  • FAFSA (All) - April 10

 **NOTE:  Non-resident returning students should complete the FAFSA by March 1 to ensure maximum eligibility for all need-based awards.
