The Global Health Forum will include a panel of speakers discussing general
community health in the Mid-South; global health; and health issues related
to gender and sexual orientation, race and ethnicity, and people with
disabilities.

Speakers include:
· Leah Williamson and Melanie Bacon of Family Voices of Tennessee,
a program of the Tennessee Disability Coalition
· Dr. Tom McGowan, associate professor of sociology at Rhodes
(research includes social gerontology, medical sociology and community
health)
· Dr. Peter Hossler, assistant professor of urban studies (research
includes the politics of health care)
· Atticus Wolfe, Rhodes student leader majoring in history and urban
studies
· Brandon Johnson, Rhodes student leader majoring in political
economy
· Seabelo John, UN global health fellow at Rhodes and organizer of
the forum
