Amanda Tamburrino ’98

Originally from Joplin, Missouri, Amanda Grebe Tamburrino came to Memphis to attend Rhodes. "My time at Rhodes was a very formative experience for me," says Amanda. "The liberal arts curriculum, the strong sense of campus community, the student-faculty relationships and the students′ commitment to community service made Rhodes a special place to spend four years." She graduated with a degree in English in 1998. After graduation she worked at the American Heart Association as the Heart Walk Director and later as the Director of Development for the College of Medicine and the College of Graduate Health Sciences at the University of Tennessee.

Amanda returned to Rhodes in February 2006 as the Director of Development.  In her current position she works with alumni and friends of the college in Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Middle and East Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, DC, and West Virginia.

Amanda and her husband Patrick Tamburrino have one daughter, Isabella Grace, and they live in midtown Memphis.
