Everyone can be a little anxious; however, if anxiety gets in the way of daily functioning, you could have an anxiety disorder. Signs of an anxiety disorder could be the following: feelings of panic and fear, recurring bad thoughts or dreams, and even physical symptoms. These physical symptoms are most often displayed during panic attacks, which may result in: dizziness, faintness, hot flashes, chills, nausea, trembling, bodily tension, shortness of breath, irregular heart rate, etc.
Approximately 1 out of 10 adults struggle with anxiety at some point in their lives. Thankfully, there are books that can aid self-treatment, counseling options, and even medications to help manage anxiety.
