Use of tobacco may not reveal negative effects immediately, but that’s because its negative effects are often revealed when it’s too late. Tobacco can cause cancer, heart attacks, strokes, and emphysema. It contains dangerous chemicals such as nicotine, tars, and carbon monoxide. No tobacco product is safe; even moderate use can cause mouth sores, make physical activity difficult, cause stomach ulcers, damage the lungs, etc.
