Military Aid

Rhodes College is proud to support active duty service members, veterans and their dependents. Through a partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Rhodes College currently participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program and administers several VA education benefit programs including the Post-9/11 GI Bill, Survivors & Dependents Assistance (DEA) and Selected Reserve.

Additionally, Rhodes provides opportunities for students to participate in the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). Rhodes, in cooperation with the University of Memphis and the Departments of Air Force, Army and Navy, has crosstown agreements that allow Rhodes students to enroll in Aerospace Studies (Air Force ROTC), Military Science (Army ROTC) and Naval Science (Navy ROTC) at the University of Memphis. Upon successful completion of the ROTC program and undergraduate Rhodes degree, the student receives a commission as a second lieutenant or an ensign in the appropriate military service.
