The Office of Institutional Research provides official, accurate, and efficient information resources for strategic planning, reporting, and decision-making activities. Reports and data are made available as appropriate to both internal and external constituents.

Publications

Common Data Set: The Common Data Set Initiative is a standardized collection of institutional data including enrollment, admission, annual expenses, financial aid, instructional faculty, and degrees conferred.

College Navigator: Data reported to the US Department of Education is available in the NCES College Navigator.

Surveys

In addition to administering population surveys, the Office of Institutional Research provides consultation about survey design, distribution, and analysis. Specific support for surveys is outlined in the Survey Policy. This policy is in addition to, and not a substitute or replacement for, the Institutional Review Board (IRB) policies.

Assessment

The Office of Institutional Research and the Director of Assessment collaborate with academic and administrative divisions to identify areas for improvement that will add value to the student experience. Tracking forms, deadlines, and other assessment resources can be found at:

Accreditation

Rhodes is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award baccalaureate and masters degrees. Rhodes is scheduled to undergo reaffirmation in 2020.
