Membership. Five faculty members (one elected by each curriculum division, plus one elected at-large, 3-year terms); one student (member of the junior or senior class, elected annually by the Student Senate; ex officio (non-voting): Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for Curriculum; ex officio (non-voting), Registrar.

Duties.

  • Review and approve all new Foundations proposals;
  • Review and re-approve, on a regular cycle, all exisiting Foundations experiences;
  • Recommend to the Faculty policies regarding the Foundations Curriculum;
  • Assess the Foundations curriculum.

Expected Involvement. Biweekly meetings are scheduled throughout the academic year. Ad hoc sucommittees may be established as needed.
