Authorization to Post


 Authorization is required for all regular new and replacement positions prior to beginning a search. The hiring manager should contact the Human Resources Office upon notification of an opening. Human Resources works with the hiring manager to review the job description, then the job description should be forwarded to the President’s Staff for review and approval.  The hiring manager will meet with Human Resources to create the search plan, review the compensation/hiring range, and ensure the hiring manager has budget approval before the position can be announced.
