The College encourages each regular full-time and part-time employee to participate in workshops or courses offered for professional development. For courses or workshops which are directly related to the work being performed, the employee may request assistance to cover registration fees and travel reimbursement. Based upon availability of budgeted funds for the department, staffing needs and demands of the department, the supervisor will evaluate the request and will notify the employee of approval/disapproval.
