Temporary leave will be granted for such activities as National Guard duty and temporary Reserve duty. Employees may choose to take leave without pay or use accumulated vacation days. All requests for leave must be accompanied with a copy of the order, directive, notice, or other document requiring absence from scheduled work. Employees must notify their supervisor as soon as notice is received. The provisions of this policy are subject to and to be interpreted in a manner consistent with federal law.
