Sen. Bob Corker to Deliver Rhodes College Baccalaureate Address, Receive Honorary Degree

The Baccalaureate Service of the 166th Session of Rhodes College will be held on campus Friday, May 15, followed by Commencement on Saturday, May 16. President William E. Troutt will preside over both programs.

Sen. Robert P. “Bob” Corker (R-Tenn.) will deliver the Baccalaureate address and will receive the Honorary Doctor of Humanities degree at Commencement. Recently named by TIME as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World, Senator Corker is widely recognized for his bipartisan leadership. He currently serves as Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

The Baccalaureate Service on May 15 begins at 3:30 p.m. in the multi-sports forum of the Bryan Campus Life Center (BCLC), and Commencement on May 16 begins at 9:30 a.m. in Fisher Memorial Garden (BCLC in the event of rain). Seating tickets are necessary for both programs, which will stream live from the Rhodes website.
