Russian Studies Announces Fulbright Teaching Assistant for 2016-2017

Rhodes’ Russian Studies Program is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and this is the 11th consecutive year the program has been awarded a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA). Dzhennet Redzhepova of Maykop, Russia, will take Rhodes courses and serve as a teaching assistant for 2016-2017.

Teaching assistants are selected on the basis of academic and professional achievement as well as demonstrated leadership potential. Fulbright FLTA scholarships are awarded by the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.

Dr. Alexandra Kostina, associate professor of Russian, is the Rhodes coordinator for the Fulbright Teaching Assistant from Russia program.
