Congratulations to the Rhodes College A team for winning the Downtown Invitational Classic held this past weekend in Brooklyn, N.Y. Hosted by New York University, the competition is considered one of the nation’s most selective and prestigious mock trial tournaments.
Matthew Jehl won an outstanding attorney award, and both Jared Blanton and Lauren Tesler won outstanding witness awards. The Rhodes A team is made up of Matthew Jehl (captain), Jared Blanton, Pauline Dyer, Paul Hubbell, Taylor Jackson, Lauren Tesler, and James Todd.
Schools who competed included Brown University, Duke University, Furman University, Harvard University, Miami University, New York University, Northwestern University, Northwood University, University of California-Berkeley, University of California-Irvine, University of California-Los Angeles, University of Maryland, University of Pennsylvania, University of Texas, and University of Virginia.
