Karissa Coady ’18, a participant in the Rhodes Bonner Scholarship Program, is the driving force behind a new play at Caritas Village, a community and cultural arts center in the Binghampton neighborhood. Coady along with other Bonner Scholars have been working with children at the center on expressing themselves through theater. As a result, they have produced a play exploring the children’s  ambitions and fears and showcasing their imagination and energy.

There will be a public performance of the play on April 23. Coady, who also is a teaching artist for Theatre Memphis, is pursuing a theatre/business bridge major at Rhodes.
