Rhodes C mock trial team brought home the giant gavel after winning this year’s Mid-South Invitational held Nov. 10-11 at Middle Tennessee State University. Teams participating included Emory University, University of Georgia, University of South Carolina, Davidson College, Florida State University, Millsaps College, Samford University, University of Alabama, and Vanderbilt University.
In addition, Rhodes C team member Anna Baker-Olson ’19 picked up the Top Witness award. Other members are Olivia Brown ’21, Emma Dale ’21, Corbin Eilmes ’19, Miriam Ellis ’21, Ashby Glover ’21, Jacob Laxson ’21, Jeena Piriano ’20 (co-captain) Christian Roberts ’20, and Alex Schramkowski ’20 (co-captain). The team is coached by Mathew Jehl ’13.
This weekend, Rhodes C will travel to Atlanta with the goal of earning another tournament championship.
