Rhodes physics alumnus Bryant Haynes has been named the 2013 Tennessee Teacher of the Year by the Air Force Association (AFA).
AFA presents awards at the local, state, and national levels to educators who have gone "the extra mile" to inspire students and increase student interest in science, technology, engineering, and math.
Haynes teaches physics at Chattanooga′s Girls Preparatory School. He graduated from Rhodes in 1985.
